Digging For Our Roots with The Hustle Mommies
November 16th | West Pullman Library

We’re reclaiming our lineage and restoring the stories of our families. Join The Hustle Mommies for a hands-on genealogy workshop where we’ll learn how to research our ancestors, navigate census and historical records, and build out our family trees—together.

This is an active research session, so:
• Bring your laptop, tablet, or smartphone
• Come prepared with as much family information as you can gather

Before the event, try to trace back at least to 1950. Ask your elders about:

  • Full names
  • Birth dates & places
  • Death dates & places (if known)
  • Parents, siblings, aunts, uncles
  • Where the family lived
  • Any other interesting stories that may help

Even if the stories are incomplete or uncertain—bring what you have.
We will fill in the gaps together.
