🌾 Didukh - an ancient Ukrainian symbol of life, memory, and continuity 🌾
Long before Christmas trees appeared in Ukrainian homes, families placed a Didukh - a sheaf of wheat, rye, or oats - in the most sacred corner of the house.
It wasn’t just decor. It was a guardian of the home, a tribute to ancestors, and a wish for blessing and abundance.
✨ Every part held its own meaning:
• the top represented the future,
• the middle reflected the present,
• the base honored the past.
Decorated with dried flowers, ribbons, and straw charms, each Didukh carried intentions for health, harmony, and prosperity.
💛 The Didukh reminds us that we are the continuation of those who came before us - and that our traditions, like wheat, grow and live through every generation.
Settle into a slow, soulful evening with warm homemade glühwein, festive treats, gentle carols, and moments of sharing, reflection, and genuine connection.
A night of creativity, meaning, and holiday spirit - crafted just for you.
