Do I need to have a meditation practice to attend?

No! There are no requirements except the desire to attend. Meditation instructions will be offered and questioned answered.

Do I need a knowledge of Buddhism?

No previous knowledge is required. I believe everything offered will make sense and be clearly stated.

What if I practice another Buddhist tradition?

I am a teacher in the Theravada tradition however I practice in the Soto Zen and Kadampa Buddhist traditions as well. All are welcome and many of the core teachings that I focus on in these talks are taught in many traditions.

Do I have to sit on the floor or in the lotus position?

No and no! We have chairs as well as yoga mats and zafus(meditation cushions). Sit where and how is comfortable for you. I will also be happy to answer and posture questions you may have.
