This engaging, hands-on training will give learners strategies for enhancing circle time experiences for the children in their classrooms. Learners will gain an understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of circle time and the affect developmentally appropriate circle times can have on learning.

Training Objectives:

1 .By the end of this session, the learner will Create a list of advantages and disadvantages of circle time.

2 .By the end of this session, the learner will Design two activities to use in their classroom to increase engagement and learning through circle time.

3 . By the end of this session, the learner will Demonstrate one technique in a small group for either reading or music and movement during circle time.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
