A one-day workshop led by Ken Rimple of Chariot Solutions.

In this hands-on workshop, learn how to rapidly develop applications using AWS Lambda and the Serverless Framework. Students will use AWS Lambda to build a data analysis application against data stored in AWS, and expose the data via AWS Lambda and the API Gateway.

Students will use React and AWS Amplify to configure a front-end application to query a range of data and visualize it using charts and data tables.

The workshop will also cover the use of complementary AWS services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon Cognito.

By the end of this session, you will have an increased understanding of how to build a serverless application based on managed services with AWS.

Student Requirements:

* Laptop with:

* pre-configured AWS account (credits will be given to run exercises)

* User will have pre-installed the AWS CLI tools and configured them to access their account

Setup instructions will be provided several weeks before the event.
