DESSINA DIVINA: An art workshop inspired by the Divine Design within nature
Overview
Join us for this weekend retreat and workshop that celebrates the Celtic Feast of Imbolc and the Catholic Feast of Saint Bridgid, where we sense the quickening of new life beneath the snows and silence of a Vermont winter. We will spend time outside, deeply seeing the beauty in all things, pulling inspiration from the glittering snow, pieces of bark, dry leaves and feathers. After gathering materials that call to us, we'll move inside, making silicone molds of our finds and casting them in polymer clay. The options for creation are endless - we can make decorative tiles, jewelry, bowls or vases, cover boxes, form wreaths or make three-dimensional art. This time is yours to play with!
No artistic "talent” is required. Just a desire to play outdoors, spend time in community with other like minds and a curiosity about different mediums.
All materials, lodging and meals included in price.
