Dessert and Dialogue Potluck

What says community more than sharing a meal together? As part of the Arts in Action project, the DeKalb County History Center in partnership with the Ellwood House Museum are hosting a Dessert & Dialogue potluck dinner on August 13 at 6:30 p.m.

As the fourth in a series of discussions, “Dessert and Dialogue” will be an evening of community-building, storytelling, and racial healing. A continuation of the Arts in Action program, “Dessert and Dialogue” gives DeKalb County residents the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of our shared history. The event aids in shifting the local history narrative to a more inclusive and accurate account.

This event takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 13 at the DeKalb County History Center, 1730 N. Main Street.
