The School of Visual Arts (SVA) and New York University's Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship are proud to co-sponsor the 2nd Annual Designpreneurs Hackathon, an opportunity for NYU founders to collaborate with SVA designers in an exciting and intense 3-day event culminating in a usable prototype or MVP. NYU entrepreneurs who are creating digital products, have completed the customer discovery process, and are now ready to apply their customer insights are encouraged to consider this program.

Join us for this event, where we will cover all you need to know about the Designpreneurs Hackathon, so you can determine whether your team might be a good fit. Additionally, this session will double-up as a pre-hackathon workshop, where our partners from the School of Visual Arts will discuss the following topics:

  • Start-up design 101
  • How desirability and design meet product-market fit
  • Product validation through user research (a.k.a nailing who your users are!)
  • Validating your product through user testing

If you are unable to attend but interested in the program, feel free to contact the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship ( for more information. Additionally, teams may apply here by the deadline of September 30, 2021. Seats are limited.
