Designing Micro-Learning with Purpose

This interactive 1-hour workshop will guide faculty through the principles and practices of micro-learning and just-in-time support. Participants will explore how to create short, targeted learning experiences that align with course objectives and meet students where they are academically and logistically. Using practical examples and hands-on activities, faculty will walk away with strategies and tools they can immediately apply in their online Canvas courses, including adaptive release, embedded multimedia, and scaffolding techniques that support flexible, student-centered learning.
