About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

If you are ready to move beyond ready-to-use designs and either customize or develop your own designs from scratch, this class is for beginners to learn to use Inkscape—free vector design software available for many operating systems—and the built-in tools of Cricut Design Space to bring your ideas to reality. Please bring your own device with Inkscape and Design Space installed if possible. E-mail Gene in advance (fogbowlegbow@gmail.com) if you would like assistance installing software on your device before the workshop.

Please note that while we may use the cricut for demonstration purposes during this workshop, this is not a project-based class and participants should not expect to leave with a completed project. Information will be provided on where you can access a cricut locally for no or low cost in order to complete any designs you have made, if you do not have personal access to a machine.

Children 7+ are welcome with a child ticket and paying adult participant. Youth ages 12+ are welcome to attend solo.
