Design Therapy: Power of the Pivot

This is NOT a lecture or a webinar. Design Therapy is an exclusive space for graphic designers and curious creatives to “keep it real” about our field and discuss the topics that excite and frustrate us.

In this edition of Design Therapy, we'll discuss "Power of the Pivot", including crucial changes that include:

• mental/internal pivots
• creative, career, and financial pivots
• pivoting with purpose
• roadblocks to pivoting

We'll also discuss what it takes to plan for your pivot, make the change, and maintain your momentum.

Participants will get the opportunity to provide their voice to a guided discussion and should leave with new insights, learnings, and perspectives to add to their creative and mental toolkit.

About Your Instructor

Shannel Wheeler is a graphic designer, author, certified project management professional, and the founder of Awesome Design Academy and SW Graphic Design. Her passion and purpose in design stem from her love for art as a child and have grown from a myriad of experiences in corporate America, startups, and her own business ventures. She has over 20 years of professional experience transforming ideas into visual solutions for Fortune 500 clients, corporate brands, nonprofits, small businesses, and tech startups.
