Build Better Products Faster With Design Sprints

Ever wished you could get months worth of work done in 5 days? With Design Sprints, it’s possible! Even better, it allows you to create better products while eliminating wasted time and money pursuing lost causes.

Join Rocket Insights for a one-day workshop with author and process creator Jake Knapp to learn how to uncover new product ideas, validate assumptions, and make better product decisions using Design Sprints!

Learn how to run a Design Sprint from the person who created it (and tested it 150 times)

Developed during his time at Google Ventures, Jake Knapp’s Design Sprint process is a methodology for answering big questions quickly. It’s battle-tested, easy to learn, and suitable for any team!

By condensing a full Design Sprint into an 8-hour workshop, you’ll be able to experience the process with the help of an expert guide. Jake will walk you through all five days of the process, as well as the business strategy and behavior science behind each of them.

Learning from Jake will effectively give you a superpower: the ability to see the future!

You’ll walk away from this seminar able to predict the success of your finished product...BEFORE you invest months of time and millions of dollars in making it.

If you work in product, design, or marketing, this workshop is career investment that you won’t want to miss.

The Workshop

Over the course of the day, you’ll learn about the Design Sprint process…by actually doing it!

Jake will cover the basics of each step, along with tips and tricks for facilitating a successful Design Sprint each and every time.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Lead a team through the Design Sprint process

  • Eliminate lengthy discussions for faster, smarter decisions

  • Sketch a solution effectively (no art or design skills needed!)

  • Choose the right prototyping method for your product or service

  • Map out a challenge and choose the most important place to start

  • Identify crucial business and product questions to be answered in your sprint

  • Conduct 1:1 customer interviews to test hypotheses before you invest in product development

  • Integrate Design Sprint methods into your workday, streamline your calendar, and get more done than you ever thought possible

The workshop format is activity-based. You'll put pen to paper, break out into teams, and develop your muscle memory for this amazing methodology.

After you’ve tried out the process yourself, you’ll have a chance for Q&A. Learn from Jake’s experience running over 150 Design Sprints with teams at Google and some of the world’s most exciting startups!

Synopsis

The workshop covers all five stages of the Design Sprint process:

Map

Learn how to map of your service and chooses a target customer and one target moment to create a tight focus for your sprint. Lay out the foundation for your map by setting an optimistic long-term goal and listing pessimistic sprint questions. Efficiently interview experts on your team, and get all the info you need to begin.

Sketch

Eliminate group brainstorming (and the shallow, abstract ideas it produces), and learn how Design Sprints rely on individual work to produce concrete, detailed solutions instead. You’ll learn how to confidently sketch your ideas, and teach everyone on your team the skills they need to create a visual representation of their solutions.

Decide

Cut through the “group decision” nightmare of sales pitches, arguments, and endless debate. Implement the sprint’s structured decision-making framework to make the best of everyone’s expertise while shortcutting the baloney. Learn how to coach your own team through making better, faster, more opinionated decisions.

Prototype

The core of the sprint is the development of a realistic prototype in just one day. In the workshop, you’ll learn why this approach is so critical for businesses—and how to choose the right technique to prototype any product or service.

Test

Take your ideas into the real world on the final day of every Design Sprint! Learn how to run prototype interviews with real target customers. Not only will you get a feel for the market, but you’ll be able to answer questions and prevent problems before they ever occur.
