All are welcome to attend this insightful panel on Design for Accessibility: Beyond the Code, presented by AIA Phoenix Metro Women in Architecture and the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) Committee, in celebration of Disability Pride Month.

Wednesday, July 30 at Ability360 in Phoenix.

5:00PM - Tour Ability360, one of only a handful of centers in the U.S. that is specifically designed for individuals with disabilities, and the only center of its kind in the Western United States. The center provides health, fitness and recreation programs to military veterans, individuals with disabilities and their families, and also serves as a venue for local, national and international adaptive sporting events.

5:30PM - Program and Networking Reception

Moderated by Kelsey Ahumada, AIA, Managing Principal at Portica Architecture, attendees will hear from the following panelists:

  • Clarisa del Castillo, AIA, Principal at Merge Architectural Group
  • Maurita Harris, AIA, Senior Architect at PHX Architecture
