About Our Speaker

Rietje (pronounced re-cha) Becker is aan accomplished designer, creative director and type enthusiast. She specializes in corporate identity and packaging design and has worked with a variety of internationally recognized brands, such as the 9/11 Memorial, Mondelez, DIAGEO, CVS, Hershey's, Kraft and Colgate-Palmolive. Before joining Soulsight, Rietje worked at Landor, Interbrand, Sterling Brands and Dragon Rouge.

When not at work, Rietje is a contributor for Brand New – a blog for opinions on corporate and identity work, published by Under Consideration. She has also taught as an adjunct professor in FIT's Packaging Design department. Rietje enjoys spending time with her kids and bird watching, (but not at the same time).
