Design a Board Game - Tabletop Toolkit
Overview
This is a full day masterclass of Tabletop Game Design. There will be moments of:
- Discussing different design philosophies
- Developing and nurturing ideas
- Collaboratively creating new designs
- Playtesting and feedback
Every group will leave the day with a prototype for their game.
This will be a day of ideation and creativity anchored in an effective development process.
Whether you're already a part of the design community, or you're just curious about how games work and where your creativity can lead you, this event will be fun, inspiring, and informative for all.
Hosted by Anna Whitehead, founder and director of Ingenium Games and Benedict Douglas, founder of Bumblebeard Games. Anna is an award winning game designer having worked for Hasbro and now running her own publising business. Anna teaches game design at degree level in Manchester. Ben has over a decade of experience designing games and recently published his first game Brink. Both Anna and Ben are active members of the North West game design community.
