SUMMARY—

The Deputy Bubba J 5K + Cornhole Tournament 2025 will be on August 9th, 2025.

This year's community event will feature a 5K race, 1 Mile Fun Run, Cornhole Tournament, Food Trucks, and more!

Proceeds from the event will assist the families of Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers who are killed or seriously injured in the Line of Duty.

Deputy Johnson lost his life on January 12th, 2014 in a motor vehicle accident while on duty with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Bubba had previously served with the Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service and the Clarksville Police Department.

ENTRY FEE—

5K—$40

Includes 2025 B5K Race Shirt (if registered by MIDNIGHT on July 15th, 2025) and Finishers Medal (for the first 250 runners to finish).

1 Mile Fun Run—$10 (no shirt or Finishers Medal)

**NEW THIS YEAR**— BATTLE OF THE BADGES same info as above, just for First Responders! Bragging rights + prizes for the winning dept!

Cornhole Tournament—$40/team. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team. Bring your own partner. Double elimination outdoor tournament. Tournament run by Cornslingers Bag Co (https://cornslingersbagco.com)

OTHER DETAILS—

We are also excited to announce that we will have food trucks at this year's event! Bring your appetite as we'll have Bondi Bowls and Smash N Beef Co in attendance!

While there is no official category for K-9s, all well-behaved dogs are welcome to bring along their registered human runners and run along with them!

Online Registration cut-off is MIDNIGHT on August 6th. There will not be registration on race day.
