Democracy in Peril: Causes, consequences, and policy solutions to democratic backsliding in the U.S.

Join us for a critical discussion on the state of American democracy. This panel, featuring GSPP policymaking professors and alumni practitioners, will explore the causes of democratic decline in the U.S., its consequences for governance and social cohesion, and the policy solutions needed to reverse this trend.

After the discussion, network with fellow GSPP students and alumni. Let's chart a path forward to strengthen and revitalize American democracy.

This alumni event is open to GSPP alumni, current students, and the public.
