Texas students can work elections starting at age 16. Learn how to get involved in the democratic process as a nonpartisan poll worker!

Are you ready to serve a critical role in our democracy? In Texas, students can work elections beginning at the age of 16 -- even before they are eligible to register to vote! Bexar County high school and college students are invited to join Youth Do Vote and the Bexar County Elections Department for an interactive presentation and workshop about working elections. Representatives from Youth Do Vote will help students learn about the application process. Local high school and college students who have worked previous elections will share their experiences. Interactive stations will you become familiar with election equipment and procedures as well as the Bexar County Elections Department. Come learn why poll workers are critical to our democratic process!

Lunch will be provided for attendees.
