Come prove it at Dem Aint the Words — the ultimate Black Music Trivia showdown! We’re throwing it all the way back (and forward) with multiple rounds of music trivia covering the classics, the deep cuts, and everything that made the cookout playlist.
This isn’t your average trivia night — it’s a high-energy, multi-round showdown covering classics, deep cuts, and anthems from every era. From soul to hip-hop, R&B to gospel and even TV Show theme songs, if it made you dance, cry, or sing at the top of your lungs, it’s fair game.
Gather your crew, rep your era, and get ready to battle it out for bragging rights (and some dope prizes).
How It Works:
- You'll play on a team of 5 or 6, if you don't have a team, we'll assign you to one. (Start working on your team name now.)
- All questions will be music related and each team member will need to use their cell phones or tablets to answer the questions.
- There are multiple rounds and opportunities to win. But at the end of the night, there will be one grand prize team winner.
- There will be mini games for individuals to play between rounds.
