This class will cover tips and insights on how to prepare and deliver a killer set, including how to secure bookings, understand your role on a lineup, do your homework, build your crate, plan ahead (but not too much!), curate the vibe, and tell a story that gets everyone on the dance floor moving and grooving.
About Mazlow:
Lizz aka Mazlow’s musical journey took shape after completing her doctorate in psychology, seeking a new challenge intertwined with a lifelong love for electronic music. She is known for moving dance floors with her patented groovy and up-tempo sets that blend minimal, deep and tech house. Her infectious energy has awarded invitations to spin at renowned venues up and down the East Coast, performing alongside industry leaders such as Azzecca, Josh Baker, Max Styler, Paco Osuna, PAWSA, SOSA, Toni Gessler and more.
As head of Nü Androids A&R and local booking management, as well as co-founder of House Keys HQ, Lizz is passionate about building community, providing opportunity and supporting the many artists in the DMV that make our scene so vibrant.
