Delay Pedal DIY Workshop
Overview
In a Cram workshop, you'll get all of the necessary materials and detailed instructions. We'll have all the equipment: soldering iron, hand tools, and more. Participants have a blast while they learn. And at the end, you’ll walk away with a working delay pedal.
DIY Delay Pedal
This delay pedal is an advanced circuit offering an intuitive four-knob control layout, allowing precise adjustments for Time, Repeats, Tone, and Mix. Additionally, an internal trimmer pot provides a set-and-forget option for overall volume control. Effortlessly dial in anything from crisp, short slap-back echoes to expansive, Gilmour-style delays. With a maximum delay time of 600 milliseconds, this pedal delivers rich, organic sound with analog warmth, ensuring a smooth and natural delay response..
This is a medium part count project – but with guidance from the Cram team, it’s easy build for beginners! If you need help with your circuit, your instructors have 20+ years’ experience building, designing, and troubleshooting electronic circuitry. So rest assured that we will get your effect working and get you ready to explore the worlds of sound synthesis and electronics. Expect this workshop to last 2 – 3 hours.
