Disabled performers are taking the stage at North Carolina’s only lesbian bar, just in time for pride month at Arcana! Defiant brings drag, burlesque, music, and more in a showcase that’s fierce, celebratory, and fully on our terms.

This show is 21. Please bring valid ID with you. Tickets will likely sell out. Get them while you can! Doors at 7pm, show starts promptly at 8pm.


If you need to use the elevator, please call Arcana at (919) 973-1675 and someone will let you in. Parking is available in the lot behind Arcana 212 Ramseur St or in the Corcoran St. Deck at 128 Corcoran St. which connects. There are two accessible parking spots for those with placards directly in front of the entrance, two further down the sidewalk and several more in the lower level of the parking deck. It is a small space with lots of seating. There are two single stall bathrooms. There is low lighting in the bar, and no strobe. There are no steps inside the bar. The seating will be arranged around a runway. This will be a masked event with masks available at the door for audience members. There will be an air purifier borrowed from the Queer The Air Collective at this event. Performers do not need to wear a mask during performances.
