Our Speakers Jordi Valls – Head of Innovation, SITA Labs Jordi is an entrepreneurial technology leader with over 15 years of experience driving innovation across startups, scale-ups, and global organizations. He has founded several ventures, including Startup Embassy and 1Sleeve Inc. in Silicon Valley, and later Mentor-VR, a virtual-reality company enhancing employee experience for clients such as CaixaBank, ESADE, and Wyser. His career spans leadership roles at Decelera, Carnovo, The Knot Worldwide, Sunday, and now SITA, where he leads SITA Labs — a global team of engineers, designers, and business leaders developing breakthrough products that shape the future of travel technology.

Fabricio Carraro – AI Developer Advocate, Barcelona Supercomputing Center Fabricio is an AI Developer Advocate at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), Spain’s national hub for supercomputing and home to MareNostrum 5, one of the world’s fastest supercomputers. He focuses on connecting cutting-edge AI research with developer communities, creating open-source demos, and supporting projects like ALIA, Aina, and ILENIA in language technologies. A published author and host of IA Sob Controle, Brazil’s top-ranked technology podcast, Fabricio has a strong background in data, machine learning, and multilingual communication. His work bridges research, industry, and public engagement to advance the responsible use of AI.
