Zae Illo is a public theologian and member of San Francisco Monthly (Quaker) Meeting. He has imitated several ministries and is the current chair of San Francisco’s Shelter Monitoring Committee.Zae holds an M.Div. from the Earlham School of Religion, a Quaker seminary.Wild, Deep Waters (2025) is a milestone in the Quaker tradition - the first full-length spiritual journal written by an African American.

We'll take this time to gather and discuss Deep, Waters as a community along side author Zae Illo. We'll have a special drink for the book and the cafe itself will be available.
