About this event
This .35 (3.5 hour) PPO CEU introduction to deep rest course will guide individuals on a journey toward resting more deeply. We will delve into not only the science behind deep rest but also engage in exercises that promote and demonstrate deep rest. Students will learn how deep rest, such as through relaxation practices, can facilitate changes in individuals’ views on others by reducing stress and fostering a more open and receptive mindset.
Overall, deep rest can play a valuable role in promoting positive changes in individuals’ views on others by fostering relaxation, empathy, open-mindedness, and self- awareness. Deep rest practices can help individuals transcend rigid thinking patterns and challenge stereotypes or prejudices they may hold about certain groups of people. By promoting relaxation and openness, deep rest can create the conditions for individuals to engage in more nuanced and empathetic ways of perceiving others.
