About this event

Food & Drink • Food

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, join us for a plant-based panel + community meal honoring Latino Heritage Month and the ancestral wisdom that feeds our bodies and spirits.

What to expect:
• Powerful stories from BIPOC chefs, vegan food business owners & community leaders using food as medicine, resistance & cultural preservation
• Conversations on food apartheid, colonization & systemic inequality
• Pathways to food sovereignty & collective care rooted in love, justice & liberation

Sliding scale entry $5 to $25 (or any amount) | All proceeds support the Little Village Plant-Based Community Fridge, nourishing our neighbors for 4+ years.

Come hungry for food, connection, and action. Together we reclaim the plate, the land, and our future.

The first 5 people to register and attend will receive a FREE 2-lb bag of Masienda masa to take home! Link in bio to register.

Special thanks to our community partner Good Food is Good Medicine for generously donating the event space and to Masienda for donating the heirloom masa our chefs will be using.
