Decolonizing Mental Health from an African -Centered Approach
Overview
✨This transformative series invites mental health professionals to critically examine the colonial foundations of racial health disparities, psychological theory, practice, and systems of care. Through five dynamic sessions, participants will explore how historical and ongoing systems of oppression shape mental health narratives, diagnoses, and treatment—and how to reimagine their work through a lens of equity, cultural humility, and liberation using African-Centered Approaches. 🧑🏾💻
✍🏽Each session builds upon the next. Yet it is not required. It's "BEST-PRACTICE" to experience all five. Join us!
