Decolonizing Coffee

Decolonizing Coffee

By Cuidate Collective

Overview

Learn about coffee's colonial history and what it means to promote a more equitable future for producers and coffee-drinkers.

Do you love coffee? Have you ever thought about how your beloved cup gets to your hands every morning, or evening?

Join us in further decolonizing Thanksgiving weekend with a relaxed coffee tasting and discussion lead by Seb (former Director of Education for Devoción USA), and tunes by Mario (a life-long barista).

For anyone looking to learn the basics or brush up on their brewing skills, we’ll have a V60, Kalita, and French Press brew station.

Have a different brewer at home? Feel free to BYOB and/or bring your questions!

Ticket price is sliding scale and includes a coffee sample, home brewing recipes, and resources to get more involved!
