Declare your North Star: New Year Intention Setting Workshop - Marin

As we prepare to step into a new year, this workshop invites you to pause, turn inward, and tune into the deeper direction that’s calling you forward.

The North Star, steady, constant, and unwavering, has guided travelers for centuries. It’s not the brightest star, it is the one that always points us home. In this gathering, we’ll use that same symbolism to uncover the intention that can guide your next season of life.

Through a series of reflective prompts and visualizations, you’ll explore what you want to feel, create, and embody in the year ahead. You’ll be guided to articulate your personal North Star: a clear, soulful intention to orient your decisions, energy, and growth.

Together, we’ll deepen into this intention with journaling and sharing exercises designed to help you understand:

• What your North Star is asking of you
• How to weave it into your daily way of being
• How it could unfold or manifest throughout the coming year

To close our time together, we'll “crystallize” our North Stars by designing a journal cover together as a tangible reminder of our intention.

Event Timing:

Join us at Cypress on Thursday, 1/15 starting at 6:30pm to explore and shop Cypress' curated collection of colorful home goods and apparel. We'll dive into the workshop at 7:15pm and will finish up by 8:30pm.

Accessibility note:

Kyla is the Founder of Waveflow, a social media app for gratitude journaling. Kyla has spent over a decade building & scaling teams in the health & wellness industry. Kyla has led group meditation and inquiry sessions for thousands of people. Prior to founding Waveflow, Kyla helped grow the Operations and Business Development teams at SoulCycle after an early career in Investment Banking. As a Waveflow facilitator, Kyla’s intention is to create an environment where participants are encouraged to choose courage and make meaningful decisions in the direction of their heart.
