Workshop Overview:

Design a skate deck that turns heads and tells a story. In this hands-on workshop, artist Sean Chambers (AKA Chambo) shares his techniques for transforming blank skateboard decks into bold, rideable art. With a background in painting, digital design, and screen printing, Sean’s work sits at the intersection of grit and creativity. Artist Sean Chambers provides expertise, guidance, tips as you create your own customized skateboard decks with paint, stickers and design works. All materials—including real, skate-ready decks—are included. Take your unique work of art to the streets or the nearest skate park.

Instructor Background:

Sean Chambers, widely known as AKA Chambo, is a multimedia visual artist living and working in Phoenix, AZ. Since childhood, Sean has used art as his primary language—filling sketchbooks with made-up characters and portraits long before he found words for what he was feeling. Today, his raw and emotional work dives into themes of mental health, trauma, and healing, inviting connection through both physical and digital mediums.
