How difficult is the puzzle?

We work with Artifact Puzzles to bring you a challenging puzzle. These high quality wooden puzzles aren't easy-peasy, but at the same time most teams complete their puzzle in the allotted time. By the way, the puzzle in the photo is not the one you will be building during the competition.

Is there a prize for the winning team?

Yes! The winning team can choose a puzzle from the Artifact Puzzles selection (value up to $75), or can opt for a $40 gift card to Alpha Acid!

How often are these competitions held?

We took a little break (our last competition was in September), and we are back and ready to puzzle! We will be sharing more about our plans for 2026 when we see you at Alpha Acid on December 3rd!

Welcome to the December Speed Puzzle Competition at Alpha Acid Brewery! Join us on December 3, 2025 at 6:30 PM for a fun-filled event where teams of two will race against the clock to complete a challenging yet-to-be-released wooden jigsaw puzzle from Artifact Puzzles. Whether you're a puzzle pro or just enjoy a good brain teaser, this contest is perfect for all levels. One ticket includes a TEAM entry, two beverages and one puzzle. Additional puzzles are for sale on a first come, first served basis. Don't have a partner but want to compete? Contact us for a special ticket and we will pair you up!
