Overview of Evening Talk: How to Work with Happiness and Suffering

As dharma practitioners, we will experience all kinds of ups and downs in life, and it is crucial that we are able to integrate any and all circumstances into our path of practice. Many times, adverse circumstances can result in the most swift of progress if we can take them on the path, or they can be serious obstacles if not. Good fortune as well, can be the cause of spiritual accomplishment if we can take it on the path, or possibly be the cause of laziness, distraction, and pride if we do not.

Join Gochen Tulku Sangak Rinpoche for this month's One Community Gathering and learn what it means to integrate suffering and happiness into our path and thereby make all circumstances in our lives into opportunities for spiritual growth.

About One Community

Each month, we come together for an evening of learning and discussion to deepen our understanding of the dharma and our connection with sangha. Led by a Namchak teacher, thought leader, or staff member, each gathering revolves around a specific topic and lasts 90 minutes.

The session begins with a dharma talk and is followed by a Q&A with the teacher.

We invite Learning Circles, meditation buddies, and individuals to join us, and encourage you to bring friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers along to share in the experience!
