This November, as we approach National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, Close to Home is honored to mark a meaningful milestone—10 years of advancing solutions to homelessness in our community. For the past decade, we’ve worked to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring by securing federal funding, organizing the Point-in-Time Count, facilitating strategic planning, aligning partner agencies around shared goals, shaping policy, reporting data, and strengthening our community’s coordinated response.
