Death Over Donuts: Ancestor Altars

We hope you can join us Thursday, October 23rd from 11am-12:30pm at the Larkspur Library & Learning Center for this community gathering where we will discuss ancestor altars and how we might create one.

An ancestor altar is a way to honor and give reverence to your ancestors and loved ones who are no longer living. These altars exist in many traditions around the world and in this very special gathering we will discuss these traditions, find ways within our own cultures and traditions to create one that feels right to us, and build a communal altar at our library to honor the ancestors we carry with us.

While this is a drop-in event, our library does have limited seating, so this free event will be small. Registration is required to reserve your spot, so be sure to sign up today if you want to join us!
