A Workshop on Dealing with the Aging & Elderly Narcissists In Your Life
SYNOPSIS: A workshop on handling elderly narcissists for understanding and managing their behaviors, setting healthy boundaries, and protecting yourself from emotional harm. It will also address the challenges of caregiving for individuals with narcissistic personality disorder as they age.
Topics that will be discussed include:
- Understanding how narcissism presents in the elderly
- Narcissism and dementia
- strategies for dealing with elderly narcissists
- challenges that occur with caregiving
- building a support system
- Realistic expectations dealing with aging narcissists
- handling death & dying of a narcissist
This group will be highly interactive, questions are welcomed and material will be presented in a power point presentation that will be available to all attendees post workshop.
