About this event

Over the past year and a half technology and medicine have come together to support physicians and their patients in bigger ways than we imagined. With the rise of the use of telemedicine, more frequent cyber attacks, and moving from paper to digital records, it is even more important to understand the role technology will be play in medicine today.

Join us as we talk with three experts that represent different segments of technology in medicine to get their take on how technology is reshaping the practice of medicine.

Our panelists include Venky Medicharla, Founder and CEO of Preeminent Technology, a leading provider of Managed IT services focusing on small and medium sized businesses in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region. Amy Goliszek, Chief Operating Officer with 99 Management, a physician practice consulting firm in Dallas, and Andrew Lee, MD, with Texas Oncology, a network of over 460 physicians and oncology specialists who provide advanced treatment options to cancer patients in underserved rural and urban communities throughout Texas.

Learning Objectives:

1. Learn the IT infrastructure that was put in place to maintain successful telemedicine platforms.

2. Understand the different ways to utilize telemedicine to sustain a practice during a pandemic.

3.Learn helpful tips on how to continue to treat patients in an effective and timely manner while using telemedicine.
