Event description

Note: We need a minimum of 10 learners to accommodate activities during the course. If we have not reached 10 by March 17, 2018, I will reach out to you and see if you would like a refund, or a coupon code to the follow-up training date.

Agile Software Development methodologies are being widely adopted by technology organizations and other knowledge-based work. Agile Software Development methodologies have a reputation for being deceptively simple yet difficult to master. This course is designed to walk learners through the underlying mindset shift needed to be Agile, not just do Agile.

Day one focuses on the internal and cultural aspects necessary to create an environment for agile organizations.

Day two focuses on customer and stakeholder interactions and activities necessary for planning and designing, as well as introduce learners to agile technical practices.

Day three closes out the discussions about technical practices and focuses on reporting, metrics, feedback loops, and change management within an organization adopting agile software development methodologies. The end of day three includes two games intended to solidify the knowledge gained from this workshop and walk through two popular Agile Software Development methodologies: Kanban and Scrum.

Days begin at 730am to 8am. The morning session begins at 8am. Lunch from 12pm to 1pm. Afternnon session begins at 1pm and ends at 5pm. (Subject to minimal change based on the daily flow of the course.)

Training includes tuition, course workbook, and continental breakfasts, lunches, and beverages.
