Join us for an informational overview on the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification program. The purpose is to increase the participation of certified DBEs in projects funded by the US Department of Transportation and other federal sectors. Projects typically include heavy construction, such as building and designing roads, bridges, railroads, ports, and airports.

Presented by Nina Britton, DBE & Transportation Outreach Specialist – Hampton Roads Region

VDOT's Prequalification Process is designed to assure the Contractor’s ability to perform work with attention to quality and safety, including experience in similar work, as well as the sufficiency of equipment to accomplish the work.
