Type Lab is an ongoing even at the Typographics festival organized and lead by Petr van Blokland. Presentations, demonstrations, critiques, and mini workshops will be scheduled and improvised throughout the duration of Type Lab. The nature of Type Lab is a dynamic and changeable experience to provide a practical and intimate counterpart to conference programming. Presenters and participants are volunteers and the events are underwritten by a generous sponsorship by Klim Type Foundry. Detailed schedules will be available closer to the event date on the Typographics website. It will take place, for the most part, in room LL101 at 41 Cooper Square.

Typographics Book Fair is a gathering of some of our book-selling friends who consistantly trade in excellent books of typographic design and type ephemera. Display Books, Letterform Archive, New Metaphor Books, and Oak Knoll, will be bringing some typographic treasures. Come browse the rare books, type specimens, designer monographs, and more. A veritable typographic book collector's Mecca will set up in the 41 Cooper gallery.
