Event Details

Join volunteers, legislative staff, and anti-hunger advocates for a day of unity, action, and community solidarity.

On January 20, inauguration day, come sort fresh food for our community and take part in a special advocacy workshop. In a political climate that has left many feeling uncertain, it's more important than ever to recommit to the values we believe in.

Our advocacy session, which will run from 11am-12pm, is open to the public. Learn the behind-the-scenes of the legislative process, and how you can take powerful action that influences decision makers. Staff will be on hand from U.S. Congress and State Assembly offices to give tips and insider knowledge on lobbying for anti-poverty legislation. Bring your questions!

In order to accomdate as many visitors as possible, we are limiting group size to five people maximum. Thanks for your understanding! Looking forward to seeing you there.
