Calling all young scientists! Turn your Thanksgiving Break into a science adventure at Clark Planetarium.
Discover how light and sound travel through space and matter. Join us as we split light into rainbows with a spectroscope, create our own musical instruments, and explore the cosmic connections between light, sound, and energy.
Join our Day Camp: Waves of Wonder! for an unforgettable, hands-on science adventure.
Students in grades 2–5 are invited to take part in this exciting day camp, offered on Wednesday, November 26 and Friday, November 28.
Both sessions feature the same exciting activities. Pick the day that best fits your schedule!

Camp will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Check In and Check Out
Check in will take place in Clark Planetarium's lobby from 8:30-9:00 am. Check out will take place in Clark Planetarium's lobby from 4:00-4:15 pm.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your child's camp registration, email us at clarkreservations@saltlakecounty.gov. As per Salt Lake County policy and procedures the Clark Planetarium will withhold 25% of the refund (program registration fee) for administrative costs. Requests must be received one week or more in advance of the start date and time of the program. No refunds shall be given for requests received later than this.
