DAWG Support Group
By DAWG
Overview
Did family time take it out of you this year? Feeling drained? Join DAWG as we talk about how we navigate tough relationships
Coming out of the holidays can feel overwhelming especially when you're surrounded by family that you may or may not politically agree with. DAWG is creating a confidential, supportive space to discuss:
- How hard it is to dissagree with your family politically
- Navigating disagreeing opinions with those you love
- Setting healthy emotional boundaries
- Coping with feelings of loss or disconnect from MAGA family members
- Deciding what is a "dealbreaker" vs. a difference of opinion
We will focus on relationship health, self-care, and conflict resolution. We will discuss tools for maintaining your own identity and boundaries while loving someone with vastly different values, and the group will be lead by a licensed professional counselor, Joni Melfi from Know Your Strength Counseling
We're keeping this group small, so please grab your ticket asap. Ticket sales will be used to secure the meeting space.
