Learn how you can access and navigate national datasets; strengthen applications for national grant opportunities, and build connections and collaborations with experts across the country, all while learning more about Health Data Research Network (HDRN) Canada and the Data Access Support Hub (DASH).

This session is presented by Kimberlyn McGrail, Associate Dean of Research in the School of Medicine at Simon Fraser University. She is Scientific Advisor for Population Data BC and Scientific Director / CEO of Health Data Research Network Canada. Her research interests are in primary care, policy evaluation and all aspects of population data science. From 2020-2022, Kim was a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the pan-Canadian Health Data Strategy. She is a member of the Global Partnership for AI Data Governance Working Group as well a number of Canadian advisory groups related to health data and research.
