Welcome to Data Mine Rockies (DMR) - Fall 2025 Symposium!

The Fall 2025 Data Mine of the Rockies Symposium is a dynamic showcase of this semester's 8 DMR projects. This semi-annual event highlights the achievements of student teams and their mentors as they present solutions to real-world challenges across aerospace, defense, and technology sectors.

Join us for an inside look at this semester’s DMR projects with real-world projects from American Systems, CrowdStrike, Cyberspatial, L3 Harris, NSIC, SDA TAP Lab, Space ISAC, SpOC, Space Command, and USSF.

Hosted at UCCS (Main Campus) in Dwire Hall, Room 121, the symposium brings together students, academic leaders, government partners, and industry innovators for an afternoon of insight, networking, and celebration of applied data science.

Event Highlights

  • 🎓 Student-Led Project Presentations: Eight student teams will present their semester-long projects.
  • 💡Q&A Sessions: Hear directly from students as they answer questions from the online and in-person audience members.
  • 🌐 Hybrid Experience: Join in person at UCCS or via live stream. Virtual attendees can participate in real-time Q&A through the chat feature.
  • 🤝 Networking Reception: Enjoy refreshments and connect with participants, partners, and sponsors following the presentations.

Schedule

  • 12:45 PM: Registration and check-in open.
  • 1:00 PM: Project showcase begins.
  • 2:45 PM: Networking reception with light refreshments.
  • 3:30 PM: Event concludes.
