Lydia X. Z. Brown

Lydia X. Z. Brown is an advocate, organizer, attorney, strategist, and writer whose work focuses on interpersonal and state violence against disabled people at the intersections of race, class, gender, sexuality, faith, language, and nation. Lydia is Policy Counsel for Privacy & Data at the Center for Democracy & Technology, where their work focuses on algorithmic harm and disability discrimination. Lydia is also an adjunct lecturer in the Women's and Gender Studies Program and the Disability Studies Program at Georgetown University, as well as an adjunct professorial lecturer in American Studies in the Department of Critical Race, Gender, and Culture Studies at American University. They are co-president of the Disability Rights Bar Association and Disability Justice Committee representative on the National Lawyers Guild board.

Nada Bseikri

Nada Bseikri is currently Assistant General Counsel at Robinhood where she focuses on privacy practices in a financial services context. Prior to joining Robinhood, Nada served as Chief Privacy Officer for Apple Bank, a regional retail bank headquartered in New York City. In her earlier privacy work, Nada acted as Assistant Director of Privacy at the University of Washington and supported privacy consulting clients across jurisdictions and industries while at TrustArc. Before shifting towards privacy, Nada practiced as an attorney in the Seattle area with an emphasis on trade secrets, entity formation and governance, as well as business transactions. In 2012, Nada earned her juris doctor degree at Wayne State University Law School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in 2008, double majoring in political science as well as law, societies, and justice. She is a Fellow of Information Privacy with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”) and holds a variety of designations including the IAPP’s CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and CIPM certifications.

Noah Cook-Dubin

Noah Cook-Dubin is the founder and President of KANOA Consulting, a creative and strategic marketing consultancy based in Pittsfield, MA. Prior to launching KANOA in 2019, Noah worked at Google in California and São Paulo, holding roles including Creative Director, Creative Technologist, and Technical Production Lead for YouTube in Latin America. His creative work has been recognized by international festivals including CLIO Sports, Webby Awards, Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, Wave Awards, FWA, and El Ojo de Iberoamerica. He has also been recognized as one of the Berkshire 40 Under Forty, for his volunteer work and community impact. Noah is an award-winning keynote speaker in both English and Portuguese, a mentor for small businesses and start-ups, and a guest lecturer for organizations including the Tufts Gordon Institute. He is the father of two young sons, a performing musician and songwriter, and an insatiable skier and mountain biker.

Noah holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Dartmouth College.

Terence Jackson, CISM, CDPSE, GRCP

As a leader in the Cyber Security and IT space with more than 20 years of public and private sector experience, Terence Jackson currently serves as a Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft. Previously he served as the Chief Information Security and Privacy Officer at Thycotic Software (now called Dilinea) which was acquired by the Global Investment Firm TPG in 2021. He helps security leaders understand where to focus and the tools needed to address cyber threats and creates strategic plans to align cybersecurity efforts with varying levels of corporate risk. An industry-acknowledged expert and public speaker, Terence is regularly invited to speak and share his insights by some of the largest and most respected organizations in the world including Forbes, Dark Reading, BrightTalk, Cloud Security Alliance, SC Magazine, InfoSec Magazine, Tech News World, The Guardian, Hedge Fund Monthly and Spectrum News. He has been recognized by Cyber Defense Magazine in 2020 and 2021 as a Top CISO award recipient. In 2022, Terence earned an Advanced Certificate in Cyber Security & Data Privacy from Albany Law School. Since then, he’s become an ambassador for the program and partners with Albany to showcase and advocate for the skills needed in today’s dynamic and ever-changing cyber landscape.

Susan Landau

Susan Landau is Bridge Professor in Cyber Security and Policy at The Fletcher School and the School of Engineering, Department of Computer Science, Tufts University and Visiting Professor, Department of Computer Science, University College London. Landau works at the intersection of cybersecurity, national security, law, and policy.

Landau is the author of four books, including People Count: Contact-Tracing Apps and Public Health (2021). She has also written Listening In: Cybersecurity in an Insecure Age, Surveillance or Security: Risks Posed by New Communications Technologies, and, with Whitfield Diffie, Privacy on the Line: The Politics of Wiretapping and Encryption. Landau has testified before Congress and frequently briefed US and European policymakers on encryption, surveillance, and cybersecurity issues. She was a Senior Staff Privacy Analyst at Google, a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems, and a faculty member at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Wesleyan University. Landau currently serves on the American Academy of Arts and Sciences Committee on International Security Studies; she has previously served on the National Academies Forum on Cyber Resilience (2016-2022) and the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board (2010-2016), National Science Foundation Computer and Information Advisory Board (2010-2013), and the Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board (2002-2008). Landau was a 2008 recipient of the Women of Vision Social Impact Award, a 2010-2011 fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, a 2012 Guggenheim fellow, 2015 inductee to the Cybersecurity Hall of Fame, and a 2018 inductee into the Information System Security Hall of Fame. She is also a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and of the Association for Computing Machinery.

Tony Ogden, JD, LLM

Tony Ogden is the President of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance for Silent Quadrant, a cybersecurity, digital transformation, and risk management consulting firm. Tony helps organizations integrate cybersecurity and data privacy into their risk management programs. Tony’s background spans both the public and private sector in legal and executive roles involving governance, compliance, enterprise risk management, and cybersecurity. Tony’s prior roles include Deputy Inspector General for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Office of Inspector General, General Counsel to the Inspector General at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Inspector General of the U.S. Government Publishing Office. Tony’s legal experience includes Litigation and Compliance Counsel for the Tobacco Project at the National Association of Attorneys General, Colorado Assistant Attorney General, and in private practice focusing on civil litigation and administrative law.

Tony is an honors graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds a JD from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and is also an alum of the Leadership for a Democratic Society program at the Federal Executive Institute. Tony recently received a Master of Laws (LLM) in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy from Albany Law School, where he previously completed an Advanced Certificate in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy. Tony and his husband live with their German Shepherd rescue in Portland, Oregon.
