Can I watch the show on my TV?

Accepted Answer

You may be able to cast or AirPlay from compatible devices, but we cannot guarantee that you will be able to watch from anywhere other than on a computer or mobile device. The most reliable way to watch this event on a TV is to use an HDMI cable from your computer directly to your TV.

Where will the livestream be broadcast?

Accepted Answer

The show will broadcast via a private Vimeo link which will be sent to ticket holders an hour prior to showtime. If you don't see your email, you can always login to Eventbrite to access the Online Event Page.

Question 3

Can I watch this anywhere in the world?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As long as you have internet access you will be able to watch and/or download the show.

Question 4

Can I still watch the event even if I can't tune in live?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Anyone who purchases a ticket prior to showtime will receive livestream access and the ability to rewatch the event for up to 7 days.

Is a download of the event included with my ticket?

Due to bandwidth constraints, we are unable to offer a free download of this event to ticketholders.

Downloads of this event are available for pre-order now and will be released on April 4, 2023.

The link to access the livestream will be sent to you via email about an hour prior to showtime (so around 7pm ET). It will also be posted on the event's "Online Event Page" on Eventbrite. If you don't see it in your email, check your spam folder!

Darkstar: The Interactive Movie is an interactive movie video game written, produced, edited, animated, and directed by J. Allen Williams. Production on the game began in 2000 thought it was not released until November 5, 2010.

Darkstar: The Interactive Movie was groundbreaking in that it featured over 13 hours of live action footage, far more than any previous full motion video game.

Darkstar creator J. Allen Williams has edited the game's footage into a full-length movie, about 104 minutes.

While the Q&A with the cast and J. Allen Williams will be live, the screening of Darkstar featuring commentary by cast members Trace Beaulieu, Frank Conniff, Beez McKeever, Mary Jo Pehl and J. Elvis Weinstein will be pre-recorded and presented live.
