Dark and light creative workshop
Overview
About the workshop
As the long Finnish nights settle in, MIELI Without Borders is organizing a creative workshop where light and dark take center stage. You’ll dive into activities that explore the balance between shadow and light, and how they shape our inner worlds. Together, we’ll celebrate the beauty of contrasts and light's warmth to the dark. It’s a chance to tap into your creativity, connect with others, and discover the magic within you.

About the Facilitators
Giulia Lepori is a sociologist with expertise in mental health research and a deep passion for the arts. Throughout her studies, she co-founded an artistic laboratory to explore the dynamic connection between science and creativity. This collaboration led to the creation of innovative installations that bridged her sociological research with artistic expression. Giulia has conducted several creative workshops in Italy and, more recently, in Helsinki during the Mental Health Art Week 2024.
Her work is driven by a belief in the transformative power of art to deepen our understanding of mental health and social issues, fostering dialogue and reflection in a unique and impactful way.
