Danny Rec's First Annual Holiday Cookie Party on Jupiter!

Let's start a tradition! When everyone's favorite Danny Rectenwald asked to present his talented friends along with his own music in our space, our response was an immediate "Yes!". Our one little spin was to add some Holiday cheer to the evening. This is going to be a very good (and eclectic) night.

Van Gilder is based out of Pittsburgh, PA with members Adelaide Estep (vocals), Connor Bragg (guitar), Blake Burkholder (guitar) and Stefan Triveri (drums). With heavy soul, rock and r&b influences it’s hard to match a specific genre to the sound. We’ll let you decide.

Danny is integrally rooted in the Pittsburgh music scene playing guitar and mandolin in various groups in the area. He maintains a busy performance calendar, playing solo and in-collaboration at the local and national level. Danny’s music has been heard across the entire dial of local radio, including WRCT, WQED, WYEP, WDVE, and WXDX. His music has also been utilized commercially, most notably his composition, "Road Song,” which was used for a nationally-televised Scott's Lawn Care commercial.

The Cookie Party

This will be an inside event limited to 50 attendees. Please bring enough holiday cookies to share. We will put out coffe, tea and hot cocoa. Bonus points for home-made, but we are not judgmental. If the cookie part is a hardship, don't worry. There will be enough for everyone.

The Logistics

Pqrking starts at 7. Please do not arrive early, as we may still be in set up and sound check. The music will start @ 8. BYOB or, better yet, BBTS (Bring Beverages To Share). This will be a seated event, seats provided. Additional information will be provided via an email sent closer to the event date.

As always with MNOJ events, 100% of your contribution goes to the performers. Please bring extra $$ for tips and merch. We support live music and the people who make it, and hope you do too.
