Join the Music Department and DJ low iron for an introduction to DJing that explores the queer origins of house music and the importance of the dance floor as a safe space in the LGBTQIA+ community. This program will give an overview of how to use a standalone DJ controller and perform a basic mix while highlighting the contributions of queer people of color to the proliferation of house music.
