ABOUT ADA SALIOU
Dancer, teacher, and choreographer

Born in Dakar, Ada Saliou began dancing as a child and, throughout his career, has developed a unique dance technique inspired by animals and nature, which he calls “body language.” He has shared this technique with students of all levels, both in Senegal and abroad, through training programs, courses, and workshops.

Saliou possesses a deep knowledge of traditional West African dances and Afro-contemporary dance. His experience as a dancer at the École des Sables has led him to participate in international festivals, where he has presented his contemporary dance creations on relevant social issues, such as irregular immigration and environmental degradation.
